A visit to the Lake District in any season will always leave a lasting impression. Winter and spring are often regarded as the best times to visit. There’s something about getting wrapped up for a walk across the fells, then relaxing in front of a roaring log fire, that provides the perfect counterpoint to the pressures of everyday life.

During the main season, April to the end of October, we take weekly bookings, with the change-over on Saturday. From the start of November until the end of March, however, we take mid-week, weekends and weekly bookings with the exception of Christmas/New Year which is weekly booking only.
